Creating different textures...

I Made this by putting different coloured tissue paper and newspaper down for the surface, then I put glue on top of it, so it hardens. I  then put different coloured ink over that then put more glue on top, I placed bits of fabric in the ink and glue while it was drying to create lots of texture.

Life drawing : 12/10/11

In this picture I decided to draw in oil pastels, because most of my work is very colourful and bright.
In this picture I drew the model in pencil, and shaded some parts to show shadow, I then put collage around the drawing to create texture.

Weave stop motion animation film...

This is a weave i made by using brightly coloured wool, I chose these colour's because it links in perfectly with my work and films. This picture is the final product of my stop motion animation film; I did this by taking a photo of every weave and then putting it on final cut and editing it there.

Transfer printing..

In this piece, I made stripy prints, then transfered them onto fabric, and then I sown pieces of string on top to create a 3d effect, which also made it look like the string were dripping down the fabric.
I liked this piece because it created a layered affect with the different coloured strips.
I though this worked well because I tried to make a little transfer print similar to my experimental film.
I like the ghostly effect this print made by layering different colours on top but not leaving the iron on               top for too long.
I created this piece by layering different shapes on top but still keeping on with the different theme's I tried out.
I like this piece the most because i've created a 3d piece by layering cotton and fabric on top of each other then I stitched around the shapes and added string on top, I think this piece has some similarity to the art work 'The snail' ...

Film related art...

These two pictures are screen shots from my experimental film I made.

I made these copies by painting onto sheets of A5 pieces of glass with acrylic paints, I thought this worked well.

This is the short experimental film I made, it still needs a little work but here's what I made so far...
